How do I prepare for yoga?

Preparing for a Yoga Class. make sure you are well-hydrated and avoid caffeinated products (including green and black teas) a hour prior to a lesson. Eat a light snack/meal 2 hours before exercising.  Eating snacks or meals before a lesson depends on each person. Use a yoga mat.
